ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, has moved the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for better facilities in the Adiala Jail.
The counsel for Bushra, through a petition, took the plea that she stayed in the Prime Minister’s House as the first lady and was entitled to better facilities under Jail Rules 1978 due to her better standard of living. He said the jail superintendent did not heed Bushra’s requests. The respondents should be directed to fulfill their legal obligations. The federation, the jail superintendent and the chief commissioner Islamabad have been made respondents in the petition.
