Youths role vital for fight against environmental hazards
MULTAN: Academicians and civil society activists emphasised that youths have key role in fight against environmental hazards.
Speaking at a seminar at Bahauddin Zakariya University held in collaboration with Doaba Foundation, Water Aid and BZU Department of Food and Nutrition Sciences here on Friday, the experts highlighted youths leadership in environmental protection. The seminar focused on the growing threats of climate change and the need for individual and collective actions in an affected country like Pakistan.
The seminar highlighted the training of youths under the Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative and their achievements in the environmental field.Speaking on the occasion, BZU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Zubair Iqbal and other experts highlighted the youths role in combating environmental threats.
