Arrested students trying to settle in UK on fake visa sent to jail

ISLAMABAD: The court of Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Shahzad Gondal has issued notices on post-arrest bail for students arrested for trying to settle in the UK on fake visas.
During the hearing on Saturday, the FIA presented 25 arrested students in the court. The court ordered all the accused to be sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand. They are accused of tampering with their passports and trying to go to the UK and settle there.
Later, the accused filed applications for post-arrest bail, on which the court, while giving notice to the parties, adjourned the hearing till March 24. The lawyers will present arguments at the next hearing. A case has been registered against the accused in the FIA.
