Yousuf joins team for NZ tour as daughter’s health improves

LAHORE: In a positive development for the Pakistan cricket team, batting consultant Mohammad Yousuf has confirmed his availability for the upcoming tour of New Zealand.
Yousuf, who had earlier expressed hesitation due to his daughter’s illness, announced his decision to join the squad after doctors assured him of her improved health. “Doctors have said that my daughter’s health is now better, so I am going with the team,” Yousuf stated. “Going with the national team is a national duty, which I have decided to fulfill.”
The T20I series begins on 16 March in Christchurch.
