NOWSHERA: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary Syed Shahab Ali Shah has said that the network behind the attack on Darul Uloom Haqqania would be unmasked.
Speaking during his condolence visit to Darul Uloom Haqqania, he said that Darul Uloom Haqqania and its scholars have always played a vital role in maintaining peace and stability in the country.
He expressed his grief over the martyrdom of JUIS leader Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani. He met Deputy Administrator Maulana Rashidul Haq and Maulana Hamidul Haq’s son, Abdul Haq Sani, offering his sympathies.
During his address, the chief secretary announced that a joint investigation team (JIT) has been formed to probe the terrorist attack on the religious seminary. The team has already begun investigations on a daily basis, and significant progress is expected soon. He assured that the entire network behind the attack would be unmasked, and those involved, including facilitators, would be brought to justice.
He added that Darul Uloom Haqqania had always maintained a positive role in society, not only in imparting religious and contemporary education but also in cooperating with both provincial and federal governments whenever required. He paid tribute to Shaheed Maulana Samiul Haq and Shaheed Maulana Hamidul Haq, saying that they had made great contributions to the country.
