ISLAMABAD: Additional District and Sessions Judge Amir Zia has extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi in the Ramna Police Station case registered over a protest at D-Chowk.
During the hearing on a pre-arrest bail application on Thursday, lawyer Ansar Kayani had sought exemption from appearance of the accused, taking the position that Bushra was arrested in the 190 million pounds case and imprisoned in the Adiala Jail.
He requested that the Ramna Police be ordered to interrogate the accused in the jail. The court extended the interim bail of Bushra and adjourned the hearing till February 17.
Establishment Division had taken the opinion of law ministry under Rule 14 of Rules of Business, 1973
