Gold rates up Rs2,300 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices rose by Rs2,300 per tola on Wednesday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association stated that gold rates reached Rs288,700 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,972 to Rs247,513. Gold rates increased by $22 to $2,763 per ounce in the international market.
Silver rates rose by Rs28 to Rs3,391 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also increased by Rs24 to Rs2,907. Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
