Resource management workshop
LAHORE:The Punjab Resource Management & Policy Unit (PRMPU) organised one-day mandatory workshop on ‘PC-I Nomenclature and Its Objectives’ in collaboration with UNICEF under the UNICEF Social Policy Rolling Working Plan (2023-24) at Planning & Development Board Punjab.
The objective of the workshop was to enhance the institutional capacity of the P&D Board and ensure clarity in project documentation. The session featured detailed presentations from resource persons, who provided practical examples to highlight the significance of proper nomenclature.
Secretary P&D Board Dr Asif Tufail said in his remarks focused on the critical role of the P&D Board in preparing and appraising development schemes. He emphasized the importance of assigning strategic titles to the projects that clearly reflect their scope and objectives, urging officers to assist administrative departments in this crucial task during upcoming ADP formulation. He further stressed the need for P&D Board POs, ACs, Chiefs, and Senior Chiefs to ensure that the PC-I documents submitted by various sectors are precise and cohesive.
