All staff in arms licence branch replaced

LAHORE: The Punjab Home Department has replaced all staff in the arms licence branch to ensure transparency and address public complaints. Deputy commissioners across the province have been directed to do the same, particularly replacing staff who have served for over a year. Under the Punjab Arms Rules 2023, licensing and verification powers have been delegated to deputy commissioners. A report on the changes is to be submitted within a week.
