The Punjab Internship Programme for Fresh Graduates is a commendable step by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, reflecting her commitment to making education more practical. However, further measures are needed to improve the quality of education and equip Pakistani students with strong expertise in their respective fields.
It is essential to ensure that all educational institutions are equipped with functional lab equipment and that practical learning is prioritised, allowing students to perform hands-on activities instead of merely attending lectures about them. Implementing these steps promptly will significantly enhance the education system.
