ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has formed a working group to solve the problems of the construction industry.
The working group will develop a framework for the development of the construction sector and a 6-member group has been formed under the chairmanship of Engineer Iqbal Qureshi.
It will review the existing policies, codes and regulations of the construction sector, identify deficiencies and suggest reforms.
The working group will also make suggestions to harmonize regulations of the construction sector with international standards.
