Cleaning of markets before 8am directed

LAHORE:Under the guidance of the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) Chief Executive Officer Babar Sahib Din, clean-up operation is in full swing in different areas of Lahore on Wednesday.

The LWMC CEO issued directives to relevant authorities to ensure manual sweeping in streets, neighborhoods, and small and large markets and complete the cleaning of commercial markets before 8 a.m. He visited Chungi Amar Sidhu, Shanghai Bridge, Kamahan, Nishtar Town, and Youhanabad and other areas to inspect cleanliness conditions. During his inspection of Ferozepur Road, Pico Road, Township Market, Madar-e-Millat Road, Green Town, and Bagrian, the CEO ordered improvement in manual sweeping on service lanes.
