China’s Guo wins title

ISLAMABAD: China’s Guo won the boys’ singles title of the PPL-Syed Dilawar Abbas World Junior Tennis Championship Leg-2 beating Korean Sion Ji in the final 7-6(3), 6-2 at the PTF Complex Courts Saturday.
Following a close first set, the second turned out to be a mere formality as Xiuyuan won it easily.
In girls singles final, Dinara De Silva of Sri Lanka beat Karolina Ligai of Kazakhstan 6-3 ,6-4 to annex the title.
Tariq Mehmood Murtaza Chairman Islamabad Tennis Association (ITA) was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
