LAHORE:The Punjab Home Department Wednesday promoted seven jail officers to the rank of jail superintendents in grade-18. According to a Home Department spokesperson, officers promoted as jail superintends include Aftab Ahmed, Hassan Nawaz, M Umair Ikram, Usama Salamat, M Ali Khan, Kashif Ali, and Kamran Haider Awan. The spokesperson added the departmental promotion committee recommended the promotion of the officers during a meeting last week.
