AI essential for business survival in data-driven economy, say experts at LCCI seminar
LAHORE: Artificial intelligence (AI) is poised to transform industries by driving efficiency, fostering innovation and enabling businesses to make data-informed decisions, experts said at a recent seminar hosted by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
AI applications, such as analysing large datasets, automating repetitive tasks, and predicting market trends, can significantly enhance customer experiences, optimise inventory, and improve quality control.
LCCI President Mian Abuzar Shad, in his opening remarks, emphasised the profound impact AI is having globally, calling it a “game-changer” for industries. He noted that integrating AI into business operations is no longer optional but essential for survival in an increasingly data-driven world.
Expert speakers Mudassar Naeem, Imad Malik, and Usman Riaz addressed key AI applications, discussing machine learning, predictive analytics and robotics. They highlighted that AI adoption could lead to a culture of continuous innovation, opening doors to new business opportunities and job roles aligned with the digital economy.The seminar underscored the urgency for Pakistani businesses to embrace AI technologies to remain competitive and meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global market.
