‘Khelta Punjab Games being held as per CM’s vision’
LAHORE:Director General Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal said that Khelta Punjab Games competitions are taking place in all districts of Punjab province quite successfully in accordance with the vision of punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
He said this while chairing a meeting regarding Khelta Punjab Games at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday. Director Sports Yasmeen Akhtar and Director Admin Dr M Kaleem participated the meeting in person while all the Divisional and District Sports Officers of Punjab participated in the meeting through video link.
DG Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal took reports from all the officers of Punjab about the district level competitions in their respective areas. Addressing the meeting, he said that all the officers should take strong and effective measures for locating fresh talent.
He further said that District level competitions of Khelta Punjab Games will conclude on November 14 and after that the closing ceremonies of the Inter-Club District level competitions will be held in all the districts of the province. He said that the best performing players at the district level competitions of Khelta Punjab Games will be given cash prizes at the closing ceremony.
