Ehtram-e-Ramazan ordinance to be implemented: DCO

CHAKWAL: Ehtram-e-Ramazan ordinance will be implemented in its true spirit throughout the district.
It was decided in a high-level meeting presided over by DCO Mehmood Jawaid Bhatti in the committee room. In the meeting it was decided that there would be a complete ban on a eating publically with some exceptions for children and patients and travelers.
DPO Munir Masood Marth, EDO (Finance) Shahbaz Naqvi, ADC Asim Jawaid Hashmi and other officers attended the meeting.
The meeting was told that flour, sugar and other essential commodities would be available at five Ramazan Bazaars in the district at subsidy rates.
The DCO also directed all price control magistrate to implement prices fixed by the district government. The DCO warned criminal cases against traders found guilty of profiteering and hoarding.
