‘Ideological Group’ rejoins PMLN
DAGGAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief and Federal Minister Amir Muqam on Wednesday met leaders of the ‘Ideological Group’ and announced the dissolution of the group.
The meeting took place at the residence of Ishtiaq Chattan, where leaders of the Ideological Muslim League and PMLN president Amir Muqam discussed their future line of action.
The Ideological Group expressed full confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, Amir Muqam and Murtaza Javed Abbasi and pledged that they will work together for the strengthening of the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Amir Muqam said it was better that the group realized the ground realities and announced joining their original political party. He thanked all the leaders and workers of the Ideological Group for announcing its dissolution and for expressing their trust in him.
Group head Abdul Subhan Khan and other leaders, including Malik Imran, Sardar Abdur Rashid and others also spoke and expressed full confidence in the current provincial leadership.
Senior leaders from PMLN including Mardan district president Inayat Shah Bacha, Swabi district president Shiraz Khan, Nowshera’s Mujahid Khan, Buner President Salar Khan, and Shangla President Intekhab Alam were among those present, alongside key figures like Babar Saleem, Nawabzada Khan, and Javed Ghazali.
