Police post targeted with hand-grenade in Bajaur
KHAR: Unidentified miscreants lobbed a hand-grenade into a police post in Sadiqabad Phattak in Khar tehsil in Bajaur tribal district on Thursday.
Source said that unknown saboteurs hurled a hand-grenade into the Sadiqabad Phattak Police Post, which caused no loss of life or damage to the property.
The promptly acted and opened fire on the attackers, forcing them to flee the scene.
It may be mentioned that five personnel had sustained injuries when unidentified miscreants lobbed a hand-grenade into a police post in Inayat Killay Bazaar in Khar tehsil in Bajaur tribal district on October 22. The miscreants had thrown a hand-grenade into the Inayat Killay Bazaar Police Post, which exploded with a big bang.
As a result, five cops identified as Muhammad Zair, subedars Dilawar and Daud Shah, constables Sarwar and Latif had sustained injuries.
