Central Selection Board meeting next month
3-day meeting of the Central Selection Board to be held on November 25, 26 and 27
ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has convened a meeting of the Central Selection Board (CSB) for promotion of grades 20 and 21 officers.
The 3-day meeting of the Central Selection Board will be held on November 25, 26 and 27, which will be chaired by Chairman Federal Public Service Commission Lt Gen (R) Akhtar Nawaz Sati.
The Establishment Division has issued a formal notification for the Central Selection Board meeting. Secretaries of all ministries and divisions, all chief secretaries, Auditor General of Pakistan, chairman FBR, DG IB, DG ISI and IGs of police have been sent letters in this regard.
The meeting of the Central Selection Board was pending for the last 14 months. The last meeting of the Central Selection Board was held in August 2023. In the meeting, more than seven hundred officers of grade 19 and 20 will be promoted to the next grade.
The Central Selection Board meeting agenda and working papers will be released soon. The promotion zone officers were anxiously waiting for this meeting. As per the promotion policy, two CSB meetings should be held in a year so that deserving officers can be promoted to posts lying vacant due to retirement.
