Ahsan inducted into UBG committee
Islamabad: Former president of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Ahsan Bakhtawari has been inducted into the Central Core Committee of the United Business Group (UBG), says a press release.
UBG Patron-in-Chief, S M Tanveer, made the announcement after the Federal Core Committee’s approval. Tariq Mahmood from Lahore has also been approved to join the committee.
Ahsan Bakhtawari expressed gratitude to UBG’s leadership, saying, “UBG is the largest representative platform for Pakistan’s business community, and being part of its Central Core Committee is an honour.” He pledged to contribute positively to resolving business community issues and promoting entrepreneurship, particularly among youth and women. He said, “Youth empowerment, entrepreneurship promotion, enhancing business opportunities and innovation, women’s economic empowerment are key priorities.”
He commended UBG’s efforts in tackling key business issues, such as the IPP issue, demonstrating the community’s strength and influence in economic decision-making.
