LDA starts patchwork on main roads
LAHORE:On the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, patchwork was in progress on the main highways of the city. Under the supervision of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Tahir Farooq, teams of LDA and TEPA were active day and night in the field. Patchwork, curb stones, potholes and manholes were being repaired on the main highways.
LDA teams repaired 152 potholes on Ferozepur Road, Johor Town, Canal Road and PECO Road while TEPA teams were doing patchwork around Main Boulevard Allama Iqbal Town, Wahdat Road and Shadman.
Lahore Development Authority DG Tahir Farooq instructed the officers concerned to ensure the quality of work during the patchwork of the highways. He said that patchwork on 89 roads would be done in the first phase on the instructions of the chief minister.
