LAHORE: A case has been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Hammad Azhar, Sheikh Imtiaz and Alia Hamza who participated in a PTI rally in Lahore. Thirty to forty unidentified PTI workers are also named in the case.
According to the FIR, police went to arrest Hammad on the report of his presence in the rally and Imtiaz and Alia resisted the police bringing Hammad down from the stage. The FIR stated that the PTI workers tore the policemen’s uniform and rescued Hammad.
It should be noted that cases have also been registered against Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur in Lahore and Karak.
