ANP leader wants Fata merged into KP
KHAR: Provincial General Secretary of the Awami National Party (ANP) and former education minister Sardar Hussain Babak has called for the annulment of Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR) and merger of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
This he said while addressing a gathering in Salarzai tehsil, where Malik Umar Daraz and Malik Burhanuddin, leaders of Salarzai tribe, announced joining the ANP.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Javedur Rehman Tandar along with dozens of workers also announced joining the nationalist party. Other local leaders of ANP including General Secretary, Bajuar Agency, Gul Afzal Khan and Shah Naseer spoke on the occasion.
Sardar Babak demanded the government to start construction of Fata University. He vowed to bring a revolution of education if elected once again.
