Govt decides to change Nespak’s administrative control

PM has ordered that the transfer process be completed within one month

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to change the administrative control of National Engineering Services Pakistan (Nespak).

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the transfer of administrative control of Nespak from Power Division to the Cabinet Division. This approval has been given under Rule 3(3) of the Rules of Business, 1973. All the assets and liabilities of Nespak will also be transferred. The prime minister has ordered that the transfer process be completed within one month. Prime Minister’s Secretary Asad-ul-Rehman Gilani has issued a formal letter in this regard to Secretary Cabinet Division and Secretary Power Division.
