Youngster dies in roof collapse

MANSEHRA: A youngster was buried alive when the roof of a house collapsed in the Hamshirian area here early Tuesday.

It was learnt that the family of Ali Zaman was asleep when the roof of his mud house suddenly caved in. Mohammad Dildar, 12, son of Zaman, was buried alive and locals retrieved him out of the rubble and shifted him to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

The head of the family and other members remained safe in the incident.Action sought: Meanwhile, the residents have asked the Health Department to launch a crackdown on the sale of spurious drugs in the city and its suburbs.
