Soldier injured in Jamrud checkpost attack

JAMRUD: A soldier sustained injuries early Monday as unidentified miscreants attacked a security checkpost in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency, official sources said.The sources said that the miscreants fired at the personnel of the security forces manning the Takhta Bag checkpost.They said a soldier was wounded in the firing. The attackers managed to escape. The security forces clamped curfew in Jamrud and surrounding localities soon after the attack.
