A nine-year-old boy was accidentally shot and killed by his uncle while he was cleaning his pistol in the North Nazimabad area. The police arrested the uncle and seized the weapon.

The incident took place on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday at an apartment located in North Nazimabad Block A within the jurisdiction of the Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan police station.

The victim was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he was identified as Bilal. According to the police, the deceased boy’s parents resided in rural Sindh and he had been living with his uncle, Waqar Ali, son of Anwar Ali, in Karachi.
