According to the Sindh police spokesperson, the provincial police chief made this suggestion at a meeting held at the Central Police Office in Karachi on Monday regarding the ongoing operation against dacoits in the Kutcha area of Sindh.
The meeting was attended by DG Sindh Rangers Major General Azhar Waqas, along with the additional IG operations, DIGs, T&T, CTD, finance, establishment, the sector commander Shahbaz Rangers, Wing Commander 82 Wing, and other police officers.
The spokesperson said that during the meeting, the DIGs Sukkur and Larkana provided a briefing on the ongoing joint operations by police and Rangers against dacoits in the Kacha areas.
The IGP stated that joint strategies and actions are crucial for eradicating criminals, and the Sindh Police remain vigilant and prepared to eliminate dacoits and criminal gangs in the Katcha areas.
The DG Rangers also stressed the need to accelerate operations in the Katcha areas, noting that the joint efforts of the police and Rangers have led to a significant reduction in highway robberies.
