LAHORE: The upcoming Pakistan-Bangladesh Test series is facing uncertainty due to the deteriorating political situation in Bangladesh.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has delayed the departure of its ‘A’ team to Pakistan by 48 hours, casting a shadow over the entire tour. In a bid to salvage the series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has extended an offer to the BCB to send their Test team to Pakistan earlier for training purposes. The PCB believes this could help mitigate any potential disruptions caused by the ongoing political unrest.
While the PCB remains optimistic about the series proceeding as planned, the situation remains uncertain. Both cricket boards are in constant communication to assess the situation and make necessary adjustments to the tour itinerary.
