Islamabad: Bahria University has organised Open House 2016 with great enthusiasm and exuberance, says a press release.
Bahria University is at the forefront of creating and disbursing knowledge and this was another effort of Bahria University to show commitment to excellence in higher education. The university intends to equip its students with the finest principles and educational tools to enhance their talents and capabilities. Through this event, BU gave an opportunity to final year students from Departments of Engineering, Computer Sciences and Management Sciences to display their final year projects. The event was organized at the premises of Bahria University Islamabad.
Rector of Bahria University Vice Admiral (r) Tanveer Faiz HI(M) graced the occasion as chief guest. Director General/Pro-Rector, Registrar, and other senior officials of the university were also present, during the event.
There were 102 projects from diverse engineering branches including software engineering, control systems, communication systems, embedded systems, robotics, radio communications and wireless communication. In addition, 32 entrepreneurial projects from the field of management were also displayed in the exhibition. The purpose of the event was to enable students to produce work as entrepreneurs and collaborate with the industry to cope with challenges of the economy. It was a medium to give access to students to interact and collaborate with industry people as students need a platform on which they can play an active role in the development and progress of the country.
