Innovative teaching techniques vital for modern educational demands
Rawalpindi:Chairman District Coordination Committee Rawalpindi, MNA Engineer Qamar ul Islam has said that the teachers’ training is very important to deal with modern educational challenges that could be achieved by increase the efficiency of teachers with the help of master trainers.
He underlined the need to equip the teachers with the latest teaching methodologies for better transformation of knowledge to the current student population. He said this while addressing a teacher training workshop at Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Education Development.
According to DPR Rawalpindi, a month-long workshop was conducted for the promotion of teachers in Grade 17 and 18. CEO Education Rawalpindi, Dr. Tariq Mehmood Qazi was also present on this occasion. Engr Qamar ul Islam said that under the supervision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, the government was paying special attention to education sector.
He apprised the participants that recruitment of more teachers would be started soon to fill the gap in educational institutions. He underlined that latest educational demands required the teachers who are fully equipped with modern trends and teaching techniques.
The teaching methodologies have globally changed for which we need to synchronise our teachers with updated teaching techniques, he said. Qamar ul Islam while appreciating the workshop’s curriculum said Quaid-e-Azam Academy being an old institution is playing an important role in training teachers and exposing them to modern trends in teaching.
He said that Quaid-e-Azam Academy has prepared the current training curriculum with great effort which reflected that training participants would fulfil their responsibilities with acquired knowledge from the training. He urged teachers to take benefit from this training session with full effort, attention and diligence, and practice the latest teaching techniques.
