PESHAWAR: The Human Rights Cell of the Peshawar High Court has disposed of around 914 cases during the current year so far.
Official figures released by the cell said that around 946 applicants had been received out of which 914 were resolved while 162 cases were still pending.
The helpline of the Human Rights Cell of the PHC received about 735 phone calls.
According to the figures, around 97 applications submitted in May were converted into writ petitions. Last year, the number of pending cases stood at 130.
