Rawalpindi:District Health Authority Rawalpindi gears up anti-dengue measures in the district during monsoon season which favours dengue larva.
According to the details, a review meeting of UC in-charges of Rawal Town was held under the chairmanship of District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Ehsan Ghani. The meeting discussed the implementation of anti-dengue measures.
Addressing the meeting, DHO Dr. Ehsan Ghani stressed to ensure implementation of anti-dengue SOPs. Anti-dengue activities will be continued with more effective measures in view of monsoon rains.
No one will be allowed to violate the Anti-Dengue SOPs, he said. On the other hand, training of health workers was also conducted by the District Health Authority regarding the prevention and control of dengue.
Health workers were given lectures by entomologists regarding anti-dengue activities during the training session. CEO District Health Authority Rawalpindi Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan, DHO Dr. Ehsan Ghani and DDHO Dr. Javed Iqbal Soomro reviewed the training and expressed their hope that the deliberations during the training would further enhance capacity building of the workers to address targeted issues towards anti dengue campaign.
