The woman, whose dismembered body was found on Friday in a bag in a graveyard near Sohrab Goth, was identified on Saturday.
She was recognised by her relatives who said her same was Farzana.
According to the relatives, she was the widow of a man, Ata Muhammad, and they also had a son.
Her husband passed away five years ago. The relatives disclosed that her residence was not far from where the body was found.
Farzana had left home five days ago and never returned. Surprisingly, the family did not file a complaint with police.
Police said they were investigating the woman’s death from various angles.
