CS to attend moot on polio

PESHAWAR: Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhary has left Switzerland to attend an international conference on polio.
In his absence, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department, Abid Majeed, has been appointed as the acting chief secretary.
According to a statement issued by the Establishment Department, the chief secretary has gone to Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in the Independent Monitoring Board meeting for the Global Polio Eradication Initiative.
The conference is scheduled to take place from July 13 to 21.
During his absence, Abid Majeed will perform the duties of the acting chief secretary.
