Islamabad:The Capital Development Authority (CDA) board at its 8th meeting on Friday, approved Rs91.584 billion surplus budget for the fiscal year 2024-25.
According to details, the budget is surplus by Rs145.33 million as the authority has set a revenue target of Rs91.730 billion for the ongoing financial year. An official of CDA said that for the first time, the authority would not depend on generation of revenue only from the auction of commercial and residential plots.
The CDA board which met with chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawan also made it mandatory for houses with four kanals or above, agro farms and commercial units to have rain water harvesting system.
The CDA board also approved to start process balloting of residential plots in sector C-14 and also okayed Orchard Enclave scheme spanning over 1487 kanals and smart housing apartment scheme in Sector E-11. The CDA board also approved Health Insurance policy for CDA employees according which they will also be entitled to health treatment in Islamabad's private hospitals.
The CDA board also decided to adopt the Government's Efficiency and Discipline Rules 2020 while the chairman directed to complete all the pending inquiries against CDA officers and other employees.
