LAHORE:Engaging young students in healthy activities during summer vacations is our top priority and it is the main objective of Summers Sports Camps being organised across the province. DG Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal said this in a statement on Thursday.

He said the summer camp of football is underway at Punjab Stadium where expert provincial football coaches Shahzad Asghar and Shabana Tabassum are imparting valuable training to around 60 male and female players of 5 to 16 year age group categories. The qualified coaches emphasised on building stamina, running and playing techniques including how to control the ball, give a pass to fellow team mate and dodge an opponent player during the training session. He said that the summer camps will continue across Punjab till August 3. More than 1,200 children are receiving training in summer sports camps.
