Gas pipeline to Quetta explodes, terrorism feared
Gas supply to Quetta has been cut off and the reasons for the explosion of the pipeline are being ascertained

QUETTA: A 24-inch diameter gas pipeline exploded near Mach and the supply of gas to Quetta was suspended.
According to officials of the Sui Southern Gas Company, a 24-inch diameter gas pipeline coming to Quetta exploded on Sunday night in Kobash area of Mach in Bolan.
The gas supply to Quetta has been cut off and the reasons for the explosion of the pipeline are being ascertained. The repair work of the affected pipeline will be started after security clearance.
