Preparations complete for Urs of Abdullah Shah Ghazi

The Sindh Auqaf department has completed preparations for the 1,294th three-day annual Urs of Sufi saint Syed Abdullah Shah Ghazi that will fall next week.

According to a statement issued by the Auqaf department, the Urs celebrations would span from Tuesday till Thursday.

Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori and Sindh Minister for Auqaf and Religious Affairs Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Sherazi would inaugurate the Urs by laying a floral wreath on the grave of the Sufi saint in Clifton.

Secretary Religious Affairs and Chief Administrator Auqaf Sindh Syed Attaullah Shah would also attend the Urs celebrations that will feature Mehfil-e-Sama, Mehfil-e-Na'at and special Milad for women, read the statement.
