Rawal Expo formally kicked off

The RCCI Rawal Expo 2016 formally kicked off in a colourful ceremony at Topi Rakh Auditorium, Ayub Park here on Friday.

Federal Minister Planning and Development Dr Ahsan Iqbal inaugurated the Expo in a ribbon cutting ceremony. The three day exhibition is being organised by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).

RCCI President Mian Humayun Parvez, Senior Vice President Saqib Rafiq, Vice President Muhammad Aqil Obaid, Group Leader Sohail Altaf, S. M. Naseem, former presidents, members of the executive committee and a large number of industrialists, businessmen and exporters attended the colourful ceremony.

The minister visited different stalls and appreciated the work of emerging entrepreneurs. He urged Chamber to provide a platform to these SME so that they can make their products visible to the rest of the world through e-Commerce.  The Minister took keen interest in the handicrafts, energy efficient products and wooden work.
