Every parent wants his children to flourish in all spheres of life. But when their dreams are shattered in shape of unkindly death, it is hard for the entire family particularly their parents to bear this irreparable loss. Such is the case with the family of Haji Tariq’s Shah, who lost four of his kids Shumaila Shah, Mashal Shah alias Kashi, Haseena Shah and Ayesha Shah in a tragic accident on August 21, 2012, at GT Road in Peshawar, says a press release.
The youngest of them all Ayesha Shah will be remembered by her family today (Sunday) as it will be her birth anniversary. The death of any child -- even a death expected after long illnesses -- is shocking particularly for their parents and entire family. Ayesha’s life seems to be too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which she lived. According to Haji Tariq Shah, her gentle smiles could melt the hearts of those around her.
Haji Tariq Shah said that all his kids possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. “All of my kids were my strength, but Ayesha had a special place in our hearts and her loss has given courage to me and my spouse to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories of our beloved kids,” he added.
Although our lives have changed since that tragedy, but we still cherish the moments we spent with our adorable angels, and till to date we have not stopped celebrating their birth anniversaries. On May 15 we will commemorate the birth anniversary of our beloved Ayesha Shah. There will be a memorial service on May 15, where we will organise ‘Quran Khwani’ besides lighting candles and observe two minutes silence in their memory. “We invite our dear and near ones to join us on this day to pay homage to them,” Mrs Tariq Shah added.
