Qureshi grilled again by JIT in May 9 cases
Investigation is ongoing, and the team will continue to question Qureshi on Tuesday
RAWALPINDI: A Lahore Police investigation team has arrived at Adiala Jail to continue questioning of Shah Mahmood Qureshi in connection with the 8 cases registered against him on May 9, the jail sources said Tuesday.
The team had earlier conducted a polygraph test (the purpose of the test is usually to prove whether or not a person committed crime) on Qureshi, as well as a voice matching, photo identification, and video recording, the sources maintained.
The investigation is ongoing, and the team will continue to question Qureshi on Tuesday. This development suggests that the authorities are actively pursuing the cases against Qureshi and are leaving no stone unturned in their investigation.
The Joint Investigation Team arrived in Adiala Jail at about 10:30 am and remained with the PTI leader for over two hours.
