NOWSHERA: Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Parliamentarians (PTIP) Chairman Mahmood Khan held a meeting wherein they discussed the prevailing political situation of the country.
During the meeting, Governor Kundi conveyed the message of Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to former chief minister Mahmood Khan.
PPP senior leaders, including General Secretary Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Member National Assembly Sajid Turi and others were also present.
The PTIP leader said that his party believed in democracy and it was ready to work with other political parties to steer the country out of the prevailing morass.
The two leaders discussed the issues facing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the issue of electricity loadshedding and the arrears of the net hydel profit. The governor told the former chief minister about his meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wherein he informed the latter about the issues facing KP.
The PPP leaders asked the PTIP leader to join hands with them to jointly work for the rights of KP. Mahmood Khan said that he was ready to work with anyone willing to work for the rights of the province.
