MoU signed on research collaboration
LAHORE:The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) has signed an MoU with a private company for research collaboration in product innovation, reproductive biotechnology to improve dairy farms economics, livestock health and dairy animal breeding etc.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Younus and CEO/Managing Director of the company Jason Avancena signed the MoU in a ceremony held at City Campus. Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani, Chairman Department of Parasitology Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, and other officials attended the ceremony.
Scholarships for students
Punjab University and a private company signed a memorandum of understanding on providing scholarships to the deserving PU students. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Director Marketing of a private company Humayoun Bashir, Chinese Directors of Sales Ten Weivong and others participated on this occasion. Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood thanked the company for the financial assistance to the deserving PU students.
