Four killed in road mishap

PESHAWAR: Four people were killed when two vehicles collided on Ring Road near Pishtakhara on Tuesday.Reports said a double cabin pick up collided with an alto car on the main road in the wee hours that resulted into the death of four passengers identified as Ibrahim, Sannan, Muhammad and an unknown. Three others Farhan, Ibrahim and Arsalan were wounded.
Meanwhile, a number of persons involved in smuggling of imported goods attacked a police party on Dilzak Road on Tuesday..It was learnt the cops on duty tried to stop the small-scale smugglers on Dilzak Road. The smugglers clashed with police and attacked their vehicle. Police later arrested some of the accused and a case was lodged against them.
