IPC Minister urges provinces to revitalize grassroots sports

ISLAMABAD: Rana Sanaullah, newly appointed Minister on Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) has called on all the provincial units to establish a solid base of sports at school level and submit their suggestions and details on the available data to reactivate sports at the grassroots level.

The Minister who chaired a high level meeting aimed at the developing sports in the educational institutions.

The meeting was participated by representatives of all units including Secretary Education Moinuddin Wani. Secretary Education has played a very

important role in making the Central Asian Volleyball a real success by making school going children a part of the week long show, tabled some suggestions for the uplift of school sports in the country.

The Minister said under special instruction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, every step will be taken to generate sports activities at school and college levels to strengthen the base of the game.
