Hasnat deputed to PPRA as MD

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has transferred a BS-21 of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service (PAAS) Hasnat Ahmad Qureshi as Managing Director (MD) of Public Procurement and Regulatory Authority (PPRA) on deputation for a period of three years.

Previously, he was serving as Financial Advisor at Pakistan Ordnance Factories Board. He had also served as Director General (MIS) and Director General (Accounts) at office of Controller General of Accounts. He had also acted as Director General of Federal Directorate of Education (FDE).

Federal Secretary Information and Broadcasting Shaheera Shahid is proceeding on ex-Pakistan leave from May 25 for 10 days. Federal Secretary National Heritage Division Hasan Nasir Jami has been given additional charge of Secretary Information.

Meanwhile, five officers of Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) have also been transferred. The government has placed services of BS-20 PSP officers Jahanzeb Nazir Khan and Hasan Raza Khan who were waiting for posting at Establishment Division have been placed at disposal of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government

Similarly, services of a BS-19 officer of PSP Asif Iqbal have also been placed at disposal of Gilgit-Baltistan government while another BS-19 officer Mian Saeed Ahmad has been transferred from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Gilgit-Baltistan.
