National Netball from June 27
LAHORE: The National Netball Championship, organised under the auspices of the Pakistan Netball Federation, is scheduled to take place from June 27 at the Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad.
Chairman of the Pakistan Netball Federation, Mudassir Arain, announced that preparations for the championship are well underway. A total of 17 men’s and women’s teams from across the country will participate in the event. The teams are Army, WAPDA, Police, Air Force, Navy, Railways, Pak Boards, Higher Education Commission, Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Elite Academy, Cosmopolitan Rose Academy and Islamabad.
A managers’ meeting is scheduled for June 26. The quarter-final and semi-final matches are set for June 28, with the championship concluding on June 30.
