Justice Musarrat Hilali hospitalised
PESHAWAR: The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan judge from Peshawar, Justice Musarrat Hilali, was hospitalized at the Peshawar Institute of Cardiology (PIC), sources said on Sunday.
It was learnt that the judge was shifted to the PIC in Hayatabad on Friday after she complained of discomfort.The doctors at the facility examined her. The medical investigations found that her two coronary arteries were blocked.
A coronary stent was placed in her heart subsequently. She will undergo more procedures as well.The sources said that SC Acting Chief Justice Munib Akhtar, KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and other fellow judges visited her to inquire about her health.The sources at the PIC said Justice Musarrat Hilali was feeling better after undergoing the procedure. She was expected to be discharged from the hospital today (Monday).
